Years later, they began partnering with local churches to effectively share resources and eventually established the Christian Hope Resource Center in 1999. By in February of 2001, CHRC became a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. The programs, too, were innovative, targeting at-risk shelter populations, such as neo-natal kittens and puppies, injured pets, and pets with treatable medical issues, including parvo.
